Sunday will feel pleasant, but state officials are warning of a high to very high fire danger statewide. With dry conditions and breezy winds, please exercise extreme caution with any open flames or outdoor burning, as permits may not be valid under these high-risk conditions. If you're out early Sunday morning, be prepared for one last chilly snap as temperatures dip into the mid-30s.
The chill will quickly fade as a significant warm-up arrives for the first half of the week. Temperatures are expected to climb through the 60s on Monday and soar into the upper 70s or even low 80s by Wednesday, offering an unseasonable tease of summer. While the forecast remains mostly dry to start the week, keep an eye out for light rain or showers moving through on Monday and again by Wednesday and Friday.
