Today is the fourth annual Weather Education Day hosted by the New York Red Bulls at Sports Illustrated Stadium, with News 12 New Jersey’s Lauren Due.

It’s all about the kids with the New York Red Bulls. Hundreds of New Jersey elementary school students will get seats for a fun day of learning about the weather and hear from Red Bulls legends about how rain, temperature, and wind can impact the game.

There will also be real-life experiments by Mad Science New Jersey.

The event aims to spark interest and get fans excited for spring and summer soccer with the team.

Next week, News 12 Meteorologist Mike Rizzo will be back for another round of Weather Education Day with the New York Red Bulls.
